Securing your instance
The below is by no means exhaustive but should provide a reasonably secure installation.
Note: below are already configure on your instance.
- Disable Root Login
- Change SSH Port
- Install IPTables, FirewallD, or UFW
- Change Port Number for Webmin
- Lock Webmin to Office IP/IPs
- Install PFSense (Or similar software)
- Disbale All Unused Services.
- Change Apache Tomcat Shutdown Port
- FTP is disabled by default. Use SFTP!
- Install Intrusion Protection.
