Conditional Functions¶
Conditional (Logic / Color) expressions change values or appearance based on rules.
Goal¶
Return different text, numbers, or colors when a condition is true or false.
Where to look¶
In the Expression Builder, use:
- Logic — conditional / ternary-style expressions
- Color — conditional color helpers when available
Steps¶
- Open the Expression Builder from a Text Field or conditional formatting property.
- Insert a Logic template.
- Replace the condition and true/false results.
- Apply and Preview with data that exercises both branches.

Tips¶
Tip
Keep conditions simple and test with Preview. Complex nested logic is harder to maintain than several clearer calculated fields.
