Label

A Label displays static text that does not change with each data row.

Goal

Add a Label element to the report and configure it.

Prerequisites

• A report is open on the Design tab
• The target band exists

Steps

1. On the Design tab, select the Label tool.
2. Click the target band on the canvas.
3. Enter the label text in Properties.
4. Set font, color, alignment, and borders as needed.

Result

The Label appears on the canvas and in Preview according to its properties.

Tips

Tip

Use Labels for column titles and section headings. Use Text Fields for database values.
