IBM Db2 Spatial¶
Use IBM Db2 Spatial to render spatial data from a Db2 connection.
Goal¶
Configure a map that uses the IBM Db2 Spatial source.
Prerequisites¶
- A map element is on the canvas
- Required connections exist in Connection Manager (when applicable)
Steps¶
- Create an IBM Db2 connection.
- Set the map source to IBM Db2 Spatial.
- Select the connection and configure spatial SQL.
- Preview.

Result¶
Preview renders features from the IBM Db2 Spatial source inside the map frame.
Tips¶
Note
Confirm spatial extender / privileges are enabled on the Db2 database.
