QR Code

A QR Code encodes text or a URL as a two-dimensional code.

Goal

Add a QR Code element to the report and configure it.

Prerequisites

• A report is open on the Design tab
• The target band exists

Steps

1. Select the QR Code tool (or Insert → QR Code…).
2. Place it on the canvas.
3. Set the value expression (static text, field, or parameter).
4. Size the code appropriately for scanning distance.

Result

The QR Code appears on the canvas and in Preview according to its properties.

Tip

Keep quiet-zone margins clear of overlapping shapes or text.
