Crosstab

A Crosstab builds a matrix of rows, columns, and summary measures — useful for pivot-style summaries.

Goal

Add a Crosstab element to the report and configure it.

Prerequisites

• A report is open on the Design tab
• The target band exists

Steps

1. Select the Crosstab tool.
2. Place it on the canvas and complete the crosstab wizard/configuration.
3. Assign row groups, column groups, and measures.
4. Preview to verify totals.

Result

The Crosstab appears on the canvas and in Preview according to its properties.

Tip

Start with a small dataset in Data Preview before designing a large crosstab.
