Date Functions¶
Date functions extract and format date/time values.
Goal¶
Display a formatted date or derive a date part for calculations.
Steps¶
- Open the Expression Builder.
- Choose the Date category.
- Insert the needed function and pass a date field or parameter.
- Apply and Preview.

Tips¶
Tip
Prefer Date / Date & Time parameters for user-entered ranges, then reference them with $P{} in queries and expressions.
